The data that we collect
Chemelot InSciTe collects data by various methods:

  1. You can subscribe with your email address for our quarterly Newsletter.
  2. You can subscribe with your Contact Details for our Annual Meeting.
  3. Cookies.

 

  1. Newsletter
    We will use your email address to send you the newsletter of Chemelot InSciTe with the latest updates of our Biobased and Biomedical projects. We will use your email address only for the newsletter and you always have the opportunity to unsubscribe to this newsletter.


Basis for the Processing
If you subscribed to our newsletter, you have explicitly given your consent to use your data for providing you with our newsletter and accepted our Privacy Policy.

 

If you receive our newsletter, without having registered for it by means of one of our websites, we consider it our legitimate interest to send you our quarterly newsletter, because you are involved or connected to InSciTe and our activities. If you do not wish to receive the newsletter, simply click the ‘unsubscribe’ link in these mails.

 

Retention

We will keep your personal data only as long as reasonably required for the purpose as set out above or as required or permitted by applicable laws and regulations, after which we will take reasonable measures to destroy or permanently de-identify your personal data in a secure manner.   

               We will delete your e-mail address after you have successfully unsubscribed from our  e- mailing list.

  1. Annual Meeting
    Basis for the Processing

We will use the contact details provided to us by means of your subscription   for the organization of your participation in our Annual meeting. We consider the processing of your information in connection with the Annual meeting necessary for the performance of the contract between us with regard to your participation to the Annual meeting.

 

Retention

We will keep your personal data only as long as reasonably required for the purpose as set out above or as required or permitted by applicable laws and regulations, after which we will take reasonable measures to destroy or permanently de-identify your personal data in a secure manner.   

 

We will delete your contact details within 3 months after the Annual meeting, with the exception of the information we are obliged to retain for legal purposes.

 

  1. Cookies. We use cookies to track analytics for our website. This means that we will know where our visitors spend most of their time. You can set your browser to not accept cookies, but this may limit your ability to use our website. No personal data will be stored.

How we use this information
We shall not disclose your data to third parties, except to our service providers in connection with the organization of the Annual meeting or the distribution of our newsletter. These service providers will be required to use reasonable safeguards to protect your personal information and are not allowed to om use such information for their own or any other purposes. Service providers that we engage primarily for the processing of your personal data on our behalf will be bound by a data processing agreement.  

We may also disclose your personal data to the extent necessary for compliance with any applicable law, regulation, legal process, or appropriate government request.

We are committed to keep your information secure, we will store this in our management system in a controlled environment. We will continue to work on this to make sure your information is safe and secure.

Revisions of the Privacy Policy
The Privacy Policy can be revised, and the most current version will be on our website. Only when a major change will occur, we will let you know.
